Chuk Campos has over 40 years of business experience in a variety of environments from large corporations to small startups. Chuk is a serial entrepreneur with an ability to develop highly creative and effective solutions. Embracing change, Chuk is a contrary thinker, consensus maker, and team builder who works especially well with scientists and engineers to help bring out their best. Chuk holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Chuk is a member of the Alameda County Agriculture Advisory Committee, Innovation Tri-Valley, and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Katrin Jakob, PhD, Co-Founder
Katrin Jakob, PhD has over 25 years of experience in crop science, genetics, molecular breeding, microbiology, BioEnergy crops and Biostimulants to enhance crop productivity and stability. Katrin received her PhD from the University of Giessen, Germany and did post doctorate work at the University of Chicago.
Peter C. Freeman, Co-Founder
Peter C. Freeman has over 35 years’ experience in financial management, creating financial infrastructure and raising capital for established, startup, and turnaround companies. He has arranged financings with a total value exceeding $1 B, including private equity, angel investor fundings, real estate loans, revolving lines of credit, asset-backed loans for equipment and receivables, and a wide range of project financings. Peter received a MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago, a BA degree in Economics from Amherst College, and holds Series 63, 65, and 79 securities licenses.
Jon F. Elliott, Co-Founder
Jon F. Elliott has 35 years of professional environmental health & safety (EH&S) compliance and policy experience. Jon has a J.D. (Boalt Hall School of Law 1981) and MPP (Public Policy) (Goldman School of Public Policy 1980) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BSE (Mechanical Engineering 1977) from Princeton University. He is an Attorney and member of the California Bar (No. 99631).
Craig Martin, Co-Founder
Craig Martin has over 40 years of experience coordinating estate and income tax planning with investments and cash flow for high net worth clients of The Silicon Valley. Craig has been an active angel investor as a member of Keiretsu Forum. He teaches due diligence to entrepreneurs in the Keiretsu Academy. Craig earned the Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) in 1989 from The American College (Bryn Mawr, PA). He also has earned several undergraduate level designations from that same college including the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and then earned the mark of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the CFP Board of Standards and has taught financial planning at the University of California at Berkeley.
